What membership means

Membership costs nothing. It also can't be bought.

Membership has no fee and no tiers. It is simply how we work - by introduction, so we can know how you travel, understand what matters to you, and shape each journey with the same care we would give our own.

What we are

The steward

Adam Broadbent.

I'm a diver, underwater photographer, and the steward of Atollier. I founded it to approach ocean travel differently - through relationships rather than transactions, and with the time and care each journey deserves. Every introduction is read by me personally, and every reply comes directly from me.

A short timeline

  1. 2004First open-water certification - Nosy Ve, Madagascar.
  2. 2005Joins Scubazoo in Malaysia, an underwater production house working with the likes of BBC and Nat Geo. Completes PADI Divemaster.
  3. 2009Completes Maldives: The Underwater Kingdom, a coffee-table book in conjunction with the Maldivian Government.
  4. 2016Returns to Asia to launch ZuBlu, a scuba-diving travel platform grown to 100 destinations and over 800 resort and liveaboard partners.
  5. 2026Launches Atollier to leverage decades of experience to serve a discerning circle of members each year. The book is richer than ever but stays small on purpose.

A simple process. A personal one.

It begins with a letter and a conversation. What follows is shaped around you.

    Introduction

    You, your time

    Introduce yourself via the letter below. We review in detail. Most introductions become collaborations. A few do not, and we say so honestly.

    Welcome Conversation

    ≈ 45 min

    If we believe ourselves to be an ideal curator for you, Adam will arrange a call. Forty-five minutes, but that isn't a limit. We will talk about your year and the texture of experiences you wish to have.

  3. 03

    The Dossier

    ≈ A few days

    Within a few days, a digitally-bound proposal will arrive. Destinations, resorts, vessels, moments. Yours to consider, for us to discuss, and a path to choose and refine.

  4. 04

    After The Trip

    Ongoing

    The travel is complete but the journey continues. A quick reflection on the memories made. A log recorded ahead of planning your next descent. There is almost always a next time.
